We are a leading Canadian food processor seeking an experienced industrial maintenance technician to join our team.

Job Summary

This is a permanent position requiring the successful candidate to work independently and as part of a team to perform maintenance, repair, and installation of heavy machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions, and repair or replace defective parts.
  • Installation: Install new machinery and equipment, and construct foundations for machinery as required.
  • Fabrication: Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up using machining tools.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong mechanical aptitude, ability to work at heights, noisy environments, and confined spaces, with good physical stamina and attention to detail.
