Supervisor - Garage Operations

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Supervisor to join our team at Mississauga Truck Centre Inc. as a key member of our garage operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and submit production reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of garage staff, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and schedule activities to meet work schedules and deadlines, working closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Recruit, hire, and train new staff members, as well as provide ongoing training and development opportunities to existing team members.
- Estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring accurate budgeting and forecasting.
- Operate computer-aided design (CADD) and other software systems to support garage operations.
- Recommend personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures, as needed.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to support garage operations.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on client satisfaction and service excellence.
