Job Title: THB - Moving Helper

About the Role:

The Moving Helper is a key member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth loading and unloading of household goods and office furniture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide friendly and helpful service to customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Load and unload household goods and office furniture in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Participate in packing and preparing household items for transportation.
  • Comply with all policies, procedures, and government regulations related to packing, loading, and unloading.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers and other team members to ensure seamless operations.
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to Gardewine's safe work policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the team's goals and objectives.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the job, including lifting, bending, and carrying.
  • Prior experience loading and unloading household and office furniture.
  • Proven history of working in collaborative teams.
