Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team at the Combined Medical & Surgical Intensive Care Nursing Unit at Battlefords Union Hospital in North Battleford. As a Nurse Specialist, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide expert clinical care to patients with complex health needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide competent clinical practice, assisting individuals, groups, and families with health-care needs ranging from uncomplicated to complex and rapidly changing status.
- Demonstrate a caring approach that reflects expertise.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree.
- Critical Care Nursing certificate (CCN) or nursing diploma acceptable.
- Possess instructor status for BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Resp. Fit Testing, TLR, and WAVE.
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position is $42.040 to $52.440 per hour, based on the Pay Band Nurse B. This position also offers a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
Location: The position is located at Battlefords Union Hospital in North Battleford, Saskatchewan.
