Job Title: Telecommunications Technician

M-TECH IT & TELECOM SERVICES LTD is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Technician to join our team. As a Telecommunications Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers to maintain network integrity.
  • Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access for customers.
  • Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace or repair telecommunications equipment as needed.
  • Complete and maintain test and service reports to document work performed.
  • Work with a team to ensure timely completion of projects and meet customer expectations.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in telecommunications equipment installation and maintenance.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a variety of locations, including installation and maintenance sites.
Work Environment:

The Telecommunications Technician will work in a variety of locations, including installation and maintenance sites. The work environment will be fast-paced and require strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours:

The work hours will be 35 to 40 hours per week.
