Overview

The Senior Associate plays a vital role in managing a portfolio of clients, providing overall direction to the team and collaborating with the Director to oversee client insurance programs and service teams.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Manage a book of new and existing clients, reporting directly to the Director">
  • Develop and deliver renewal strategy plans, ensuring client agreement and timely execution">
  • Conduct contract reviews, advising on risk mitigation and compliance">
  • Prepare submissions and market programs for insurers, presenting side-by-side comparisons to clients">
  • Deliver outcome of renewal negotiations to clients, through written proposals and in-person presentations">
  • Execute service agreements and provide stewardship reports, program summaries, and schematics">
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory processes, obtaining required disclosures, documentation, and taxes by deadlines">
  • Organize service team meetings and attend industry and client meetings">
  • Guide the service team to ensure timely and accurate policy delivery, invoicing, and premium financing options">
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients, using various channels to foster strong collaboration and execution">
  • Stay up-to-date with current and new systems, actively implementing them to ensure consistent and effective service delivery">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience">
  • 5+ years of Commercial insurance experience, CAIB, CRM, CIP, or equivalent designation an asset">
  • Strong organizational and project management skills">
  • Experience with data management systems, Epic would be a significant asset">
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Publisher, Word, Excel)">
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a dynamic environment">
  • Attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and excellent written and oral communication skills">
  • Level 2 P&C Insurance Agent license is a requirement">
