About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our Procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies for logistics categories, including warehousing and freight spends.

You will work closely with regional stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and priorities, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to develop and execute sound sourcing strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and driving implementation of Canada sourcing strategies for logistic categories
  • Working closely with regional stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and vendors to develop and execute sourcing strategies
  • Establishing strategic relationships with the supply base and implementing supplier management strategies
  • Identifying and monitoring risks and opportunities related to each category
  • Designing, verifying, and amending contracts in conjunction with the Legal Department

The ideal candidate will have 6-9+ years of experience in a global organization, with a proven track record of working in a fast-paced and result-driven environment. You will have experience leading complex, cross-functional sourcing projects and working in a matrix organization.

You will be a strong communicator with exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, and have a high level of ownership and accountability. Familiarity with legal and compliance aspects of procurement is also essential.
