Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Histology Technologist Specialist to join our team at MoreauGrant Consulting Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and market share expansion in the territory for Histology Instrumentation and Consumables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets for Histology Instrumentation and Consumables in coordination with Account Managers.
  • Installation Coordination: Coordinate and manage Histology equipment installations within specified product lines, including site readiness, pre-installation reagent order management, and post-installation follow-up.
  • Technical Assistance: Provide technical and application assistance to customers, including responding to customer enquiries, escalations, and troubleshooting.
  • Communication: Communicate with internal teams, including business units, tech support, management, and field service organizations, to manage regional technical investigations.
  • Demonstrations and Presentations: Conduct virtual and onsite demonstrations and product presentations; actively participate in the sales process for existing and potential customers.
  • Training and Development: Perform and document customer training, as requested by internal teams or customers.
  • Sample Management: Manage and coordinate customer sample requests, new product evaluations, and introductions.
  • Instrument Performance: Optimize instrument performance, quality, and utilization.
  • Problem-Solving: Perform experiments to investigate and solve complex technical application problems.
  • RFP Completion: Own completion of technical responses for RFP completion with thorough strategic responses.
  • Sales Support: Assist the selling team in selling cross-portfolio, lead generation, and account prospecting, and actively participate in strategic selling for all product lines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: BA/BS Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience/Skills: Minimum 1-3 years of relevant industry experience; demonstrates and applies expanded conceptual knowledge in own discipline.
  • Time Management: Proven time management skills.
  • CRM Experience: Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software.
  • Microsoft Office: Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate leadership, mentorship, and exemplary work ethic consistent with Danaher Core Values.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
