Executive Cook Chef

At SABHAI THAI, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, with a proven track record of preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and Cook Complete Meals: Our Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Inspect Kitchens and Food Service Areas: The successful candidate will ensure that the kitchen and food service areas are clean and well-maintained, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Train Staff in Preparation and Cooking: Our Cook will provide guidance and training to kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Order Supplies and Equipment: The ideal candidate will be responsible for ordering supplies and equipment as needed, ensuring that the kitchen is well-stocked and equipped.
- Supervise Kitchen Staff and Helpers: Our Cook will supervise and coordinate the work of kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain Inventory and Records: The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years or equivalent experience
Our Cook will work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on attention to detail and quality of food preparation. The ideal candidate will be physically demanding and able to work under pressure.
