Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher, Trucks to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and ensuring timely delivery to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the movement of goods from our warehouses to our clients' locations, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking and tracing information.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Monitor and analyze transportation costs and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, such as logistics or transportation.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential for this role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Use computer software to track and manage shipments.
- Communicate effectively with drivers and clients via phone and email.
