About the Role

This is a permanent full-time opportunity with an estimated salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be required to work 40-50 hours per week and operate various locations across different regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive heavy vehicles as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safe transportation of goods and materials.
  • Load and unload goods, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, overseeing vehicle condition and performing regular inspections.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and maintain accurate records of vehicle condition, cargo information, and hours of service.
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods, adhering to strict safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in heavy vehicle operation, preferably with a trucking company.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to multitask, and strong organizational skills.
