About this Role

WP Osborne Executive Search Inc. is seeking a seasoned executive to lead our client's commercial real estate division in the Greater Hamilton Area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leasing & Asset Management
    • Develop and implement strategic asset plans to drive value and revenue growth.
    • Oversee the leasing direction for the portfolio, ensuring occupancy objectives are met or exceeded.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market position to inform leasing strategies.
  • Investments & Development
    • Identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities, conducting thorough financial analysis and due diligence.
    • Lead development projects within the existing portfolio, collaborating with external consultants.
  • Property Management & Operations
    • Foster strong relationships with tenants, ensuring long-term alignment with their needs and goals.
    • Implement cost-saving strategies and develop best-in-class policies for customer service and property management.
    • Monitor tenant compliance and resolve issues promptly to maintain tenant satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership
    • Provide strategic guidance and support to a diverse team of property managers, leasing professionals, and operations staff.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and customer service.
    • Ensure efficient resource allocation and participate in hiring and onboarding processes.
  • Reporting & Analysis
    • Work with the team and finance department to develop operating and capital budgets.
    • Measure portfolio performance through regular review of income statements and variance analysis.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess a degree in business, commerce, or a related field, and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in real estate management. They will have deep expertise in retail properties, a strong finance background, and a network of trusted relationships in the real estate brokerage community. The candidate must be able to lead both internal and external resources, manage confidential information, and display the highest level of personal and professional integrity.
