Position: Real Estate Clerk
Location: Toronto, ON
Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, draft, and review legal documents related to residential and commercial real estate transactions (e.g., purchase agreements, leases, closing documents)
  • Manage all aspects of real estate closings, including title searches, requisitions, and mortgage documents
  • Conduct due diligence on real estate matters, including reviewing zoning and planning regulations
  • Assist with corporate/commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions
  • Maintain organized client files and ensure timely documentation filing
  • Provide administrative support to real estate lawyers and assist with general case management
  • Perform all other duties as required

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Law Clerk diploma or equivalent certification
  • 5 years of experience as a Law Clerk in real estate law
  • Demonstrated experience managing over 30 files per month, including sales, purchases, and refinance transactions
  • Proficiency in real estate transaction software (e.g., Teraview, Conveyancer)
  • Strong organizational skills with a sharp focus on detail and precision
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
