  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Affirm the children's growth and create a tailored learning plan.
    • Provide care for infants and toddlers including bathing, diapering, and feeding.
    • Develop and implement educational programs that foster children's growth.
    • Maintain daycare equipment and supplies.
    • Engage children in storytelling and reading activities.
    • Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers.
    • Communicate the children's situation to parents.
    • Cooperate with early childhood educators in educational activities.
    • Lead activities such as storytelling, singing, and outings.
    • Support early childhood educators or supervisors in record-keeping.
    • Promote children's creativity through various forms of expression.
    • Encourage children to participate in activities.
    • Guide children in proper eating, dressing, and hygiene habits.
    • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms for meals and rest periods.
    • Monitor children for signs of potential learning or behavioral issues and submit reports.
    • Discuss children's progress at staff meetings.
    • Establish guidelines for behavior.
    • Collaborate with coworkers and community service providers.
    • Maintain a safe and healthy environment.
    • Organize activities for school-age children.
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of other early childhood educators and assistants.
