About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Benefits Manager to join our team at Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering WDBA's Community Benefits Plan, overseeing its delivery and effectiveness while ensuring compliance with the Project Agreement. They will assess measurable and non-measurable outcomes of the Plan, identify issues, and elevate them on this high-profile project component.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve Community Benefits Plan objectives.
  • Collaborate with Project partner community benefits coordinator(s), WDBA teams, stakeholders, and community members throughout the delivery of the Plan.
  • Provide strategic advice and services to support the effective administration of the Plan.
  • Assess measurable and non-measurable outcomes of the Plan and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, business administration, planning, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of community engagement experience.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel within Ontario and Michigan as required.
