About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced truck driver to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing their skills and knowledge to optimize routes and ensure timely deliveries. The successful candidate will have excellent driving skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods;
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment regularly;
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, focusing on all aspects of the vehicle;
  • Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement;
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch, maintaining open lines of communication;
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption accurately;
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A valid AZ class license;
  • A Driver's License (Class 1 or A);
  • Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record;
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic;

Work Environment
