Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is an integrated subspecialty based department across London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital, and University Hospital, dedicated to delivering quality-driven patient care. Our multidisciplinary team, consisting of 352 staff, 40 Radiologists, and Nuclear Medicine Physicians, serves clients in Southwestern Ontario, across Canada, and internationally with highly specialized imaging services in neurology stroke, pediatrics, high-risk obstetrical, orthopedic, and cardiac imaging.

Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Medical Radiation Technologist - Magnetic Resonance (MRT-MR) to join our Diagnostic MRI team at University Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing clinical and research magnetic resonance scans, ensuring safe screening and scanning practices to prevent hazards due to high magnetic fields.

The successful candidate will participate in the training of student technologists, contribute to the development of innovative imaging techniques, and work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical and research magnetic resonance scans using advanced equipment and technology
  • Ensure safe screening and scanning practices to prevent hazards due to high magnetic fields
  • Participate in the training of student technologists

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care

This part-time position offers an estimated annual salary of $50,380 CAD, based on 0.84 FTE. The ideal candidate will possess current registration with the College of Medical Radiation & Imaging Technologists of Ontario in the specialty of Magnetic Resonance and be a member of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
