Senior Building Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Automation Project Manager to join our team at Siemens Canada Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing direction and supervision of Building Automation and Construction projects to ensure successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
- Manage and coordinate multiple projects according to the company's established project management methodologies and tools.
- Develop project execution plans, detailed project schedules, and incorporate critical timelines from construction requirements.
- Direct project technical teams through various stages, including planning, estimating, designing, installation, start-up, commissioning, retrofit, turnover, and warranty.
- Profitably manage project portfolios, manage revenue and gross margin.
- Act as the main point of customer contact for project delivery and issues mitigation.
- Requires three years of college or technical school, Electrical or Mechanical or equivalent combination of education and related practical experience.
- Five or more years of direct experience working with Building Automation (BAU) and Building Automation Systems (BAS).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certified with PMI or equivalent experience; or working toward is an asset.
- Designation or merit, including P. Eng., LEED certification, CEM, CFAA, or other industry-related designation is an asset.
- Good knowledge of building systems, mechanical systems, and relevant standards.
- Proven diagnostic skills, able to systematically identify and resolve technical problems.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and quality-driven decision-making abilities.
- Self-starter with strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work under time constraints and adapt to change easily.
- Self-motivated and good time management skills; calm under pressure.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Visio, and MS Project.
- Financial acumen (costing/budgeting/forecasting, etc.).
- IT literate.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Valid driver's license is essential.
- Willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
