About the Role

 

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Asset Management Specialist to join our North America delivery team. In this role, you will support various Asset Management business transformation projects, focusing on consultancy, training, and Asset Management assessments for physical asset-intensive organizations.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex Asset Management improvement programs, develop strategic plans, and engage with clients to identify business opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Development and Management: Support the development and management of complex Asset Management improvement programs, service lines, or business units for asset-intensive organizations, as either an employee or consultant.
  • Asset Management Systems/Frameworks: Develop Asset Management systems/frameworks and supporting elements, such as policies, strategies, and assessment frameworks.
  • Client Relationship Management: Manage specific client accounts and relationships to identify business opportunities within existing markets.
  • Proposal Development: Deliver proposals, including selecting appropriate methodologies and developing project plans.
  • Commercial Arrangements: Support commercial arrangements with clients and develop invoicing schedules and tracking mechanisms.
  • Project Planning: Develop project plans with clients, including timelines and specifications for deliverables.
  • Task Management: Manage the delivery of multiple tasks in projects.
  • Reporting and Governance: Manage internal and external project reporting and governance activities, communicating risks and opportunities to stakeholders.
  • Meetings and Workshops: Facilitate meetings, workshops, and events.
  • Project Tracking: Track overall project progress against schedule and collate information required for project accounting and invoicing purposes.
  • Deliverable Production: Manage the production and handover of final deliverables, including presenting findings to clients.
  • Project Review: Carry out project reviews, capturing client feedback.
  • Travel Requirements: This role requires travel across Canada, approximately 1-2 times per month.

Requirements

 

To be successful in this role, you will need:

 

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, business, or asset management).
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in asset management, preferably in an infrastructure organization.
  • Familiarity with the asset lifecycle phases (Acquire, Operate, Maintain, Dispose) and its enablers (asset information and asset risk).
  • Proven experience working in multi-disciplinary teams and leading the delivery of consultancy projects.
