Wealthsimple is revolutionizing the way people manage their finances, and we're seeking a talented Senior Associate to join our team. As a key member of our Banking and Treasury Operations team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our regulatory reporting and analytics strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure seamless regulatory reporting for Banking Operations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to build and improve current workflows, leveraging data to drive informed decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain operational dashboards to provide real-time insights and drive business growth.
  • Drive projects and problem-solve for Brokerage and Banking Operations teams, connecting stakeholders across teams.
  • Advise on key business decisions, ensuring the voice of Operations is heard and valued.
  • Showcase expertise in Payments Canada regulations and their application to our business.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in payments operations, banking, and related fields.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and data analysis, with a history of using data to answer complex questions.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, with a focus on prioritization and regular updates.
  • Collaborative mindset, with excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to work with diverse team members.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas simply and effectively.
  • Proactive and action-oriented, with a builder mindset and a focus on efficiency and results.
