**Job Title:** Hospitality Service Associate

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hospitality Service Associate to join our team at Compass Group Canada. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and serving food and beverages in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the kitchen, dining area, and surrounding areas.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and dishes to ensure high standards of food safety and quality.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems efficiently and effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling and disposal of waste.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced food service environment is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

Working Conditions:

  • This role requires standing for extended periods, lifting moderate weights, and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
