At Fairmont Banff Springs, we offer a wide range of luxurious spa experiences that cater to the unique needs and preferences of our guests. As a Spa Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and ensuring that every guest feels valued and pampered.

The starting rate for this position is $16.55 per hour, with opportunities for hourly rate increases after six months and yearly to three years. With experience and skills, compensation can reflect up to $70 per hour depending on the services being performed.

About the Job
  • Consistently offers professional, engaging, and friendly service
  • Performs all 30, 45, 60, 90, and 120-minute massage and body treatments as certified/trained
  • Ensures individualized guest service through acknowledging and responding to needs and expectations

Maintaining a clean and neat work environment at all times is essential, including ensuring all equipment is in safe working order. You will also be responsible for maintaining an ample supply of massage oils, towels, sheets, and other necessary supplies in a neat and orderly fashion within the massage work area.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a spa setting preferred
  • Certificate from an accredited school of body work
  • Able to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

This role requires constant standing/walking throughout the shift and the ability to lift and carry 20+ pounds. Physical demands include lifting under 20lbs 10% of work time, pushing 35lbs pressure through wrists 80% of work time, and motions involving bending, standing, reaching, and working with hands, arms, and fingers continuously throughout the workday.
