About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Floor Maintenance Associate to join our team at DMD General Contracting Corp. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various facilities, including apartment/condominium complexes, office buildings, and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment for clients and staff.
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to maintain a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to keep spaces looking their best.
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries as needed to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to meet health and safety standards.
  • Clean and disinfect elevators to provide a safe and clean experience for clients.
  • Handle and report lost and found items in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide basic information on facilities to clients and staff, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to ensure a sparkling clean finish.
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness.
Requirements
  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required for this role.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar position is preferred.
Work Environment
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • They will also be physically demanding and require excellent attention to detail.
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking will be necessary for this role.
