Job Description

At TIRE PIRATES INC, we are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, as well as adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Locate faults and malfunctions in mechanical units, and perform tests to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Adjust and Repair Automotive Systems: Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems, including engine, transmission, and brake systems.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance service on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance tasks.
  • Test and Adjust Units: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications, and ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Provide Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements, and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification, Tire, wheel and rim mechanic.
  • Area of Specialization: Engine repair, 4-wheel drive, Electrical and electronic system, Diesel engines.
