Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Event Manager to join our Client Development & Marketing Team in Toronto. As a key member of the Events Team, you will play a critical role in planning and executing exceptional client experiences.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to the events team including assistance with the planning and execution of webinars, in-person events, and client social events.
  • Coordinate client social events and entertainment opportunities, including searching and sourcing new venues, restaurants, trends, etc.
  • Support events related to firm sponsorships and conferences, including organizing firm attendance as sponsored events.
  • Provide day-of onsite assistance for all in-person events, including social events.
  • Manage the event calendar and event intake forms and checklists, prepare post-event reporting and ROI analysis.
  • Utilize Osler event technology to create and send invitations, reminders, and track RSVPs.
  • Coordinate the drafting of invitations and the creation of targeted mailing lists.
  • Oversee the production of event collateral, such as nametags, signage, PPT, handouts, brochures, etc.
  • Coordinate the firm's client gifting program, including regularly sourcing new and interesting products.
  • Manage event-related email boxes to ensure that requests are answered in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • A relevant university degree or college diploma, plus two years relevant work experience in planning and executing events.
  • Experience in a professional services environment is an asset.
  • Event coordination experience (preferably in a corporate environment) with an understanding of event planning and management principles, methods, and techniques.
  • Experience with event-related technology, including Salesforce, ON24, Zoom, HubSpot, desired.
  • Proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong customer-service orientation.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects, as well as multi-tasking multiple concurrent events.
  • Superior accuracy, attention to detail, creativity, time-management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Creative flair and interest in creating new client events and experiences.
  • Bilingual (English/French) considered a strong asset.
