Executive Chef for Fireside Indian Bar

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Fireside Indian Bar & Restaurant. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, managing inventory, and ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
About the Role:This is a permanent full-time position, with 32-45 hours per week, offering a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer free parking and on-site amenities, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in the culinary industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate special events and functions, such as weddings and corporate parties
- Determine food portion sizes and costs to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements to meet demand
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain inventory levels
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring presentation and taste meet our standards
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and/or equivalent experience
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant or bar setting
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, standing for extended periods
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
