Fresh Slice Pizza Cook Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Fresh Slice Pizza. This is a permanent position requiring 40 hours of work per week.

About the Role
  • This position involves working in a fast-paced kitchen environment where you will be responsible for planning menus, estimating food requirements, and preparing complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
  • You will also be required to inspect kitchens and food service areas, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and prepare special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization.
  2. Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
  3. Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
  4. Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef.
  5. Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
  6. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
