The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is a leading mental health research institution in Canada.
About the RoleWe are seeking an exceptional Neuroscience Researcher to join our team, focusing on women's mental health. As a Scientist, you will develop and carry out a sustained research program, overseeing all aspects of research projects, securing funding, and publishing research results.
You will establish local, national, and international collaborations, provide supervision, and cultivate internal and external relationships. A strong background in neuroscience, technical skills, and conceptual understanding of neural activity are essential. Preclinical modeling is considered an asset. Bilingualism (English/French) and/or proficiency in a second language are also desirable.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a research program in neuroscience, with a focus on women's mental health
- Lead research projects, secure funding, and manage research activities
- Publish research results in academic journals
- Establish and maintain collaborations with colleagues, decision-makers, and the scientific community

Requirements:We require a PhD in a relevant field, expertise in neuroscience, and experience in research leadership. You must have excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer:Competitive salary: CAD 80,000 - 120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
