Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Operations Team Lead to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our manufacturing operations team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the production process, ensuring efficient and effective operations, and maintaining high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate production activities to meet production schedules and targets
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and implement solutions
  • Monitor and control production costs, inventory, and quality
  • Provide coaching and training to production staff to improve skills and knowledge
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of production issues
  • Develop and maintain production schedules, reports, and records
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in manufacturing operations or a related field
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in a related field preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
