Michael Page is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team in Toronto. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our client in the insurance industry.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in accounts payable. They should be proficient in MS Office/Office 365 applications and have knowledge of SAP accounting software. A CPA designation is preferred but not required.

We are offering a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Job Responsibilities:

  • Process company expenses by verifying authorized signatures, journalizing transactions, and issuing cheques for timely payment.
  • Respond to customer/vendor inquiries regarding payments in a timely and effective manner.
  • Process operational claims payments by exporting payment data and creating positive pay files for bank uploads.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable.
  • Proficient in MS Office/Office 365 applications.
  • Familiarity with SAP accounting software (asset but not required).
  • A CPA designation is preferred but not required.
