Job Title: Autobody Production Manager & Bookkeeper

CSN Collision Centres is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Autobody Production Manager & Bookkeeper. This unique position requires a blend of production management expertise and financial acumen to oversee the operational and financial aspects of our autobody repair shop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, into the accounting software or ledger system.
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure timely collection of receivables and payment of liabilities.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a regular basis.
  • Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Provide support during tax preparation and audits by maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding financial records and reporting.
  • Utilize accounting software proficiently to manage financial transactions and generate reports.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and ensure proper functioning of office equipment. Coordinate with vendors for repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office, including handling correspondence, scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, and preparing reports and presentations.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, answering phone calls and responding to inquiries promptly and professionally.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred) or relevant certification (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper).
