Psychotherapist - Mental Health Specialist

Job Summary
The University Health Network is seeking a skilled Psychotherapist to join our team. As a Psychotherapist, you will work with clients who require support for psychological issues arising from injuries/incidents in the workplace, motor vehicle accidents, or through other third-party funded services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform psychosocial assessments to identify client needs and develop treatment plans.
- Provide group and individual psychotherapy to clients with a wide range of mental health conditions, including trauma, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, and addiction.
- Implement evidence-based treatment plans and monitor client progress, modifying plans as needed.
- Prepare and provide educational sessions within the framework of the cognitive behavioral model.
- Complete required documentation in a timely manner and participate in quality improvement activities.
- Perform cross-functional duties and other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Health or Social Sciences or a related field.
- Member in good standing of a regulated health professions college.
- Additional training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and group facilitation preferred.
- Experience providing psychotherapeutic assessments and structured psychotherapy treatment for individuals with mental health conditions.
- Clinical competence to provide structured psychotherapy in areas such as trauma, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, and addiction.
- Experience working with clients with disabilities/injuries resulting from workplace or auto-related accidents.
- Strong computer literacy skills and ability to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary team environment.
