Responsibilities
  • Interpret and analyze isometric, as-built, and engineering drawings to ensure accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy files, ensuring seamless collaboration and information sharing.
  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and quantity take-offs to support bid preparation and tendering processes.
  • Source and consolidate information from various sources to inform estimating decisions.
  • Support the overall bid preparation and tendering process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of Industrial Construction Estimating experience, with a strong background in civil, concrete, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and/or instrumentation discipline scopes.
  • An Engineering Technology Diploma or Engineering Degree, with a focus on estimating and cost management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a strong aptitude for working in a team environment.
  • Aptitude for working under strict timelines, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Gold Seal Certification in Estimating is considered an asset.
