Job Title: Physiotherapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Tamarack Physiotherapy and Massage Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Physiotherapy Assistant will work under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists to provide rehabilitation services to patients with various injuries or disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out treatment programs, cleaning and maintaining equipment, documenting patient rehabilitation progress, scheduling and confirming appointments, and taking patients' general medical and ophthalmic history.

Responsibilities:
  • Carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists
  • Clean and maintain equipment
  • Document patient rehabilitation progress
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 32 to 35 hours per week
Working Conditions:

The Physiotherapy Assistant will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The successful candidate must be able to perform repetitive tasks, bend, crouch, and kneel as required.
