We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Sales Lead to drive growth in our wholesale channel. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional to join our team and contribute to the success of EssilorLuxottica.

The Role

The Business Development Sales Lead will be responsible for driving top-line growth and sales goals by working closely with accounts and local synergy teams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing strategies to increase EL360 compliance and signing new customer contracts;
  • Supporting Vision Source customers with EL360 and Diamond Plus accounts through formalized quarterly business reviews, communication of program benefits, and tailored action plans;
  • Working with accounts to demonstrate EssilorLuxottica's value proposition across the full portfolio and helping them develop their business;
  • Collaborating with local sales teams to pass leads and close sales opportunities identified during quarterly business reviews;
  • Generating leads by enrolling new doors onto the EL360 contract on an ongoing basis;
  • Operating as a lead point of contact for any matters specific to EL360 within local synergy;
  • Attending local and national events and traveling up to 80% of the time (including overnights) to support business growth.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales or Business Management or similar field;
  • At least 7 years of experience working in an account management function or similar role in the optical industry;
  • Strong analytical ability and experience providing formal business reviews with accounts;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact and negotiate effectively at all levels of the organization and with customers;
  • Strong initiative and sense of urgency;
  • Ability to quickly generate and initiate creative solutions to problems;
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders;
  • Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook;
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
