Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Department Head - Consumables to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of associates to complete assigned handheld terminal activities, ensuring a zoned and stocked salesfloor, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers with product inquiries, and resolving customer issues.
  • Delegate, assist, and follow-up on the completion of Customer Availability Process tasks, including Section Work, Capping bins, and Stocking picks.
  • Delegate, assist, and follow-up on the completion of price changes and feature sets.
  • Delegate and support with coverage in required areas on the salesfloor as needed, support with recovery and zoning activities.
  • Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures.
  • Ensure associate breaks are taken in accordance with coverage.
  • Train, develop, and offer feedback to associates.
