Executive Chef Assistant

This philosophy is reflected in our approach to food service, where we believe in providing high-quality meals that cater to the diverse tastes and needs of our residents. To achieve this, we are seeking an experienced Sous-Chef to join our team at le Coin St-Paul residence in Trois-Rivières.
As a permanent full-time employee, our ideal candidate will work a daytime schedule with one weekend shift every four weeks. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated individual to take on new challenges and contribute to the success of our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meals, collaborating with our kitchen staff to ensure seamless teamwork, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Our ideal candidate will possess a strong background in institutional cuisine, a certification in food safety, and excellent communication skills.
We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including a uniform, floating days off, and ongoing training and development opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present high-quality meals to residents
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless teamwork

- Supervise and train kitchen staff
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in a large restaurant or institutional kitchen
- Certification in food safety (MAPAQ)
- Strong background in institutional cuisine
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work a daytime schedule with one weekend shift every four weeks
