About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Floor Cleaner to join our team at H2O Clean Up East Corp. As a key member of our cleaning crew, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Mopping Floors: Ensure all floors are clean and free of debris, using a combination of sweeping and mopping techniques.
  • Vacuuming and Cleaning Carpets: Vacuum all carpets, area rugs, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
  • Removing Debris and Emptying Trash: Pick up debris and empty trash containers to prevent litter and maintain a clean workspace.
  • Window and Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • General Labouring Duties: Perform various labouring duties as required, including cleaning and piling salvaged materials.
  • Spill Response: Respond to chemical spills and other contaminants, taking necessary steps to clean and contain the area.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Physically Demanding: This role requires a high level of physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Combination of Sitting and Standing: The role may require a combination of sitting and standing, depending on the task at hand.
