About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Garde Manger to join our team at Leña. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate with both front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure seamless service.
  • Ensure all proper cooking procedures, standards, and health and safety guidelines are followed at all times.
  • Follow recipes and maintain the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and its food holding areas, adhering to our high standards of hygiene and sanitation.
  • Assist in ordering for the restaurant and daily business operations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of kitchen experience or 2 years of post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
  • Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada.
