We're seeking a Senior Rail Systems Assurance Engineer to join our team in Toronto. As a key member of our Rail Systems Team, you'll work with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver exciting and varied rail projects. You'll provide support and advice to project teams on all rail system and system assurance issues, including leading requirements management, interface management, and assurance through detailed design for RAMS and system modelling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement System Safety and RAM plans and models
  • Facilitate HAZID, FMEA/FMECA, and WHATIF workshops
  • Manage Hazard Logs and lead system safety and RAM activities for feasibility, concept, and detailed design of rail projects
  • Conduct SIL assessments and develop ALARP/SFAIRP assessments
  • Review safety activities performed by others and develop safety critical and RAM critical items lists
  • Provide overall systems assurance and V&V
Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the rail domain, its technology, and design industries
  • University engineering degree in electrical, electronic, or information systems or similar
  • Professional Engineer status or working towards P.Eng registration
  • Able to demonstrate ability and experience in formulating and implementing System Engineering and Assurance plans and processes
