Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at G & R LAU ENTERPRISES LTD. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers and team members.
  • Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Order and manage the inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to provide excellent service.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Lead and direct the activities of our food service team, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our customer needs.
  • Train Staff: Provide training and development opportunities to our team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Estimate Ingredient and Supplies: Determine the necessary ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure that they are ordered and stocked accordingly.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of our food products and services, ensuring that they meet our high standards.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our business decisions.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Fast food outlet or concession.
