Job Title: Sushi Chef and Restaurant ManagerThe successful candidate will have the opportunity to work as a sushi chef and restaurant manager, preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and cleaning kitchen and work areas.
Work Setting- This role is based in our fast-paced kitchen where you will be working closely with our experienced chefs to prepare and cook Japanese cuisine.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas.
- You must have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- You should have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- You should have a strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
- We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
