We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Alberta Ltd.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating seminars, conferences, and other events, as well as supervising and training other workers. They will also be responsible for recording and preparing minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences, and determining and establishing office procedures and routines.

The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, be able to multitask, and have a strong ability to work under pressure. They will also be required to have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events
  • Supervise and train other workers
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Answer electronic enquiries

The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and will be required to have a high level of flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Permanent full-time position
  • 40 hours per week
  • English language
