Days Inn is a leading hospitality company seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. As a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our properties.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform a variety of tasks related to building maintenance and repair. The ideal candidate will have experience working with hand tools and power equipment, as well as excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance Tasks: Perform routine maintenance on hotel facilities, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs. Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt. Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Repair Work: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems. Contact tradespeople for major repairs when necessary.
  • Cleaning Duties: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures. Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings. Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Advertise vacancy, balance rent roll, contact contractors for repairs and maintenance, perform minor repairs on appliances, perform safety and security checks, show apartments and offices to prospective tenants, supervise other workers, move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability.
