Job Title: Plumber

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at GOOD TO GO PLUMBING & HEATING LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing fixtures and systems. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and repair plumbing fixtures and systems in various locations, including commercial and residential settings.
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Schedule personnel, tools, and equipment to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of locations, including commercial and residential settings. The position requires physical demands, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and hand-eye coordination.
