Strategic Talent Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our team at Starworks Recruitments Services Inc.
Key Responsibilities- Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures, ensuring a fair and respectful work environment.
- Assign projects to subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labour relations, and employee relations, promoting collaboration and effective communication.
- Coordinate the activities of the HR department to ensure they meet the organization's goals and objectives, driving business success.
- Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Review HR projects to assure compliance with laws and regulations, maintaining a proactive approach to risk management.
- Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements, providing expert guidance and support.
- Oversee the classification and rating of occupations, ensuring accurate and consistent assessments.
- Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent, driving business growth and success.
- Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales, staying current with market trends and industry standards.
- Administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs, driving individual and team performance.
- Research employee benefits and health and safety practices, recommending improvements to maintain a healthy and safe work environment.
- Liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants to build strong relationships and drive business results.
- Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers, demonstrating expertise and negotiation skills.
- Propose improvements to methods, systems, and procedures, driving process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury, prioritizing employee well-being.
- A competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
- 30 hours of work per week, offering a healthy work-life balance.
