Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Developer to join our rapidly growing technology team. As a Senior Software Developer on the Inventory Management team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of our inventory processes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for inventory management, implementing automation features and integrations with systems like SAP, WMS, OMS, and POS for seamless data flow.
  2. Identify and implement software solutions for optimizing inventory processes, including predictive analytics and real-time monitoring to enhance accuracy and reduce costs.
  3. Provide mentorship to junior developers, lead code reviews for quality assurance, and stay informed on industry trends to enhance inventory management practices.
  4. Ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of technical components through SLAs, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines, actively monitoring system performance.

Requirements

  1. Software Development Experience: Minimum of 5 years in software development, including 3 years focused on developing microservices and experience with AWS, along with inventory/supply chain management systems.
  2. Technical Proficiency: Expertise in backend service development using Typescript, Vue.js, and Node.js, with hands-on experience in microservices, containers, and orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes.
  3. Architectural Understanding: Familiar with event-driven architecture and the pub/sub pattern, along with strong experience in PostgreSQL at scale and developing REST APIs using various testing methodologies (Unit, Contract, Integration, E2E).
  4. Cloud and Caching Knowledge: Proficient in using cloud resources (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and caching technologies (Fastly, Redis, Varnish), complemented by strong communication skills and familiarity with Domain Driven Design and multi-location inventory management.
  5. Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of inventory and supply chain management systems, with deep experience in material management flows.
