About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter Assistant to join our team at Strength Of Colours Painting Ltd. As a key member of our painting division, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our painting projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload construction materials, equipment, and supplies from vehicles and storage areas.
  • Material Handling: Assist in mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Support Services: Provide assistance to medical examiners, clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and debris from construction sites.
  • Program Participation: Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers, refugees, youth employment, veterans, and Indigenous people.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Work Schedule: Work a standard 40-hour week, with opportunities for overtime as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
