About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Equestrian Centre Foreman to join our team at Clover Leaf Stables Equestrian Centre Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our horse stable, ensuring the health and well-being of our livestock, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
  • Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
  • Formulate feeding programs and maintain quality control and production records
  • Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs
  • Train horses and maintain work records and logs
  • Hire and train staff, and operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
  • Perform general farm duties, schedule work assignments, and track and report on current feed inventory
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in the field of employment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with tight deadlines
  • Physical demands of the job include standing, walking, and combination of sitting and standing
  • Organized and team player with attention to detail
