Job Summary

To support the efficient daily operation of the York Region District School Board by providing clerical support to various departments. This position provides assistance to staff and the general public as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to staff and departments as needed
  • Assist with the coordination of events and meetings
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and files
  • Develop and implement effective administrative procedures
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, and the public

Qualifications and Experience

  • Excellent working knowledge of computers and software applications
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Minimum six (6) months of clerical experience required
  • School board experience is an asset
